need help in cancelling credit card?

well, i got offered a free bag of cofee from starbucks but then it came by with an application for a credit card (another from the same bank which i have a Visa card). next thing i know, i was asked all these info again and entering me for application approval for another card.
can i go back to that bank later this afternoon and tell them to cancel my application and return the coffee promo?
