brinnasmith18 asked:

Im trying to establish my credit now but this is my first time applying for credit. I’ve never owned a credit card before. Everyone I apply to is declining my application due to the fact I have no credit history. Can anyone give me some suggestions on who I can look to to apply for a credit card, who accepts applications for people new to credit???

Try First Premier or Orchard Bank. They help people with bad credit or no credit at all.

Just sit by your phone. I guarantee you that a telemarketer will call you with credit card services.

When I first established credit, a store like Sears or Macy’s would approve you for the STORE card rather quickly for your first card. If you treat it responsibly, you can get a major card after that. Also, some banks offer secured credit cards, where they require you to open a savings account, but you will be approved for a card upon opening the account. I don’t know any personally, you’ll have to google “secured credit card.”

Because of the credit crunch, in the UK and probably the US as well, credit card companies are tightening up on new applications.

But you could get a prepaid credit card. Just type that into your browser and it will bring up a list.

Or you could acquire a credit rating. Order a couple of small items from a sales catalogue and open an account. Have a household bill in your name. Even a store card can help.

Remember not to be tempted to order large expensive items ;)

cardnow.deep-ice.com – try this credit card offers. They accept everyone, even if a person has bad/no credit.
